The owners of a seven-story storage warehouse in Long Island City are angling to transform the building into a condominium development, according to the Queens Gazette. The owner of the building at 37-19 Crescent Street has applied for a zoning variance on the two-year-old building, which would allow him to transform it from an industrial structure to a 30-unit residential building. While the identity of the building owner is not immediately clear, attorney Eric Palatnik and architect Gerald Caliendo have been tapped to help move the project along. [Queens Gazette via Curbed]
