The Apthorp condominium, at 2211 Broadway between 78th and 79th streets, has finally started selling units and as the first few closings are hitting public record, the discounted prices are revealed, Curbed reported. Three closings have shown up so far in city property records on ACRIS, for units PHA, 3B, and 10L. PHA sold for $123,717, records show, after being listed in contract at $895,000, marking an 86 percent discount. Apartment #3B, a 2,350-square-foot two-bedroom unit sold for $2.86 million after being listed for $6.61 million. The buyer of 10L, a four-bedroom 2,967-square foot unit, paid $3.89 million, down from a listing price of $5.75 million. The buyer’s names are hidden behind LLCs. Last week, Prudential Douglas Elliman’s Dolly Lenz told the Post that more than $100 million worth of closings were expected over the next six weeks. [Curbed]
