Poet’s Harlem house reenters market

After a nine-month hiatus from the market, the famous Langston Hughes House in Harlem is once again available for sale, according to local blog Harlem + Bespoke. The home at 20 East 127th Street between Madison and Fifth avenues, which is more than 3,000 square feet, has an asking price of $1 million. Sotheby’s International Realty is marketing the five-bedroom, four-bathroom house, which was home to the famed poet and includes many original amenities, including eight marble wood-burning fireplaces. The house had been on the market between May and November of last year, with an asking price of $1.2 million. [Harlem + Bespoke]
