Trump talks about NYC real estate, mosque

The residential real estate market in New York City is “very strong,” said Donald Trump in this CNBC video. He said that the apartment business has been good in New York City, while the office business has been only OK. Nationwide, however, the housing market hasn’t fared well, with people buying houses for half the price. “Overall, things are not great,” Trump said. Regarding the proposed mosque and community center near Ground Zero, Trump, who had offered to buy the site from the investor, said that the situation is “really bad and it’s getting worse.” He believes the controversy will end through a sale. As for his hit reality TV show, “The Apprentice,” Trump said the first episode of the 10th season is premiering this week, featuring 16 contestants who have lost their jobs in the recession.
