Luxury home builder Toll Brothers has set its sights on the Upper East Side, with a new, 25-unit building at 132 East 65th Street, the Wall Street Journal reported. The site was reportedly in distress when Toll purchased it, but the company, which has been eyeing distressed land deals, would not comment on the acquisition or the seller. The planned 15-story building will be the latest apartment tower in Toll’s line of “City Living” projects, which now comprise 12 percent of its business. Toll debuted its first Manhattan condominium tower in 2006 and its condo portfolio now includes Northside Piers in Williamsburg and 303 East 33rd Street in Murray Hill. [WSJ]
