The new building at 248 Flushing Avenue
With enrollment on the rise, the Pratt Institute has signed a five-year lease to expand beyond its main Brooklyn campus in Clinton Hill at 200 Willoughby Avenue, according to the New York Observer. The new, 10,460-square-foot space at 248 Flushing Avenue occupies a full floor in a five-story warehouse, a 10-minute walk away from the main campus. It was not immediately clear what the rent is. The school plans to use the space for its Masters of Fine Art program, converting the floor into individual art studios. [NYO]
