Anna Murdoch Mann, the ex-wife of Rupert Murdoch, has sold her 25 Sutton Place co-op unit for $6.25 million, following strategic price cuts, the Observer reported. She first listed the three-bedroom unit in September 2009 for $6.8 million with Sotheby’s Mary Kent. The co-op features 10-foot ceilings, a marble bath, a wood-paneled library and views of the city. The buyer is Frank Brosens, principal at Taconic Capital Partners, and his wife, Deenie. In 2009, Brosens was a leading contenders to run the TARP program before withdrawing his name from the running. Mann now lives in Palm Beach, Fla, while her ex lives in a $44 million triplex penthouse at 834 Fifth Avenue. [NYO]
