“Rent” party leader sues electoral board over “damn”-ing omission

Founder and de facto spokesperson of the “Rent is Too Damn High Party,” Jimmy McMillan, is hopping mad at the Board of Elections, which he says intentionally omitted the “damn” from his organization’s name on ballots in two separate elections in the last four years, according to the New York Post. McMillan has filed a $350 million suit against the board, claiming that by omitting the four-letter potty-mouth adjective from his group’s name the board “stripped [the party] from the ballot” and “really broke our party up.” The board claims that it left off the “damn” because the party’s name was too long to fit on the ballot.
