The new owners of 110 Amity Street, a 14,000-square-foot Cobble Hill building, are awaiting approval on a condominium conversion plan for the landmarked building, according to Curbed. The plans, which include the creation of three townhouse-style units inside the existing facade, need approval from the Landmarks Preservation Commission before work can start. Also facing Landmarks scrutiny are a new doorway in the rear of the building and a larger entry in the front. The building, which was sold to 110 Amity Street Equities LLC earlier this month for $3.6 million, was the former home of Long Island College Hospital’s Lamm Institute Building. [Curbed]
