Silverstein elected to NY Philharmonic Board

Larry Silverstein, CEO of development and investment firm Silverstein Properties, was elected to the New York Philharmonic Board of Directors, along with Larry Ackman, chairman of Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group, actor Alec Baldwin, and Credit Suisse’s Americas CEO Antonio Quintella.
“We are delighted that [they] have agreed to serve on our board,” New York Philharmonic Board Chairman Gary Parr said in a statement. “Larry Silverstein and his wife, Klara, have supported the Philharmonic’s opening night galas since 1988 and are generous donors to our special events.”
Silverstein Properties owns the World Trade Center site, which has seen significant progress as of late. Most recently, a deal with law firm WilmerHale pushed 7 World Trade Center past 90 percent occupancy.
