Ronald Dickerman, founder and president of Madison International Realty, a real estate private equity firm with ownership stakes in buildings around the world though investment funds, like 520 Madison Avenue, says his company has been doing well recently. “Just in the last three to six months we’ve seen a significant increase in the amount of partial stakes that investors are bringing to the market,” Dickerman told the New York Times. He recently announced a deal to acquire a 49 percent interest in 15 retail and entertainment properties owned by Forest City Ratner, and the firm has raised its stake in Chrysler East at 666 Third Avenue to approximately 48 percent from 35 percent. Madison International also has a joint venture in Kip’s Bay with RFR Realty, called Eastbridge Landing at 377 East 33rd Street. The firm is also working on several deals between the U.S., London and Paris, Dickerman said. [NYT]
