Tiger Woods’ former mistress Rachel Uchitel has closed on the sale of her apartment at the Griffon, at 77 Park Avenue, according to public records filed with the city today. The buyer, it has been revealed, is an executive from Colgate, the New York Observer reported. Philip Durocher, a vice president at Colgate Palmolive, purchased the apartment for $1.95 million. As had been previously reported, Uchitel made a profit on the apartment at 39th street, as she had originally bought it for $1.65 million. The apartment had been listed with Kate Meckler, senior vice president at Sotheby’s International Realty, who said that Durocher was drawn to its layout and tranquility. But she also noted that Uchitel “gut-renovated” the apartment, so it is unclear how much of a profit she really made. [NYO]
