Come next Wednesday, Nest Seekers International will have a brick-and-mortar Williamsburg presence with a new office at 578 Driggs Avenue.

It’s a duplex office in a storefront location at the corner of North 6th Street, said Eddie Shapiro, the company’s president and CEO. He wouldn’t disclose the
terms of the lease, but said the space clocks in at just shy of 2,000 square feet.

Nest Seekers, which has five offices in New York City (one of which is under construction), four on the East End and one in Miami, was “getting pressure” from
agents and customers to open an office there, Shapiro said, and he wanted to expand the reach of his firm.

“We were told by our customers and our agents we need to be in Williamsburg,” he said. The brokerage is not marketing any projects in the neighborhood, but
does have some individual resale listings, he said, although none appear on the company’s website.

There are already two managing directors tapped to run the office: Alex Dietrich and Melvin Caro, both of whom Shapiro said were based in the company’s
downtown office, but were handling some Williamsburg transactions. The office will open with nearly 10 agents and staff and he hopes that due to reorganization
that number will grow to 18 to 20 by mid-December.

Nest Seekers appears to be trying to rapidly spread its reach with new offices.

As The Real Deal first reported, Nest Seekers is planning to open an Andres Escobar-designed real estate office in the Avery at 100 Riverside Boulevard in the fall. Shapiro said today that a more realistic opening date for that office is the end of January.
