Chelsea building manager charged with hate crimes after alleged anti-Semitic meltdown

Chelsea building manager David Haddad may have been behind a number of anti-Semitic hate crimes, the New York Daily News reported.

Haddad was reported to have made harassing phone calls where he hurled anti-semitic epithets at least two women, and is now thought to possibly be behind the swastikas and words “Die Jews” found scrawled across buildings in Midwood, Brooklyn this weekend, the Daily News said. Police also said Haddad, 56, is ethnically Jewish, but not practicing. He was arrested today outside of the Eighth Avenue building he manages, which was not named.
