Madeline Elghanayan
Madeline Hult Elghanayan, wife of TF Cornerstone Chairman Thomas Elghanayan and a 20 year veteran of the real estate industry, joined Prudential Douglas Elliman as a senior vice president two weeks ago, the firm announced. She’s working out of the 575 Madison Avenue office.
Elghanayan last worked for the Corcoran Group, which she joined 10 years ago via the Sunshine Group when it was sold to the brokerage in 2002.
Elghanayan said she joined Elliman largely because the firm offers her the opportunity to market new developments and continue her resale business. She said the firm’s revamp of its new development side, and in particular the hiring of Susan de Franca was a big draw.
“Madeline has an edge that you don’t see in this business everyday,” Elliman President and CEO Dottie Herman said in a statement. “Her expertise in sales as well as promoting new developments makes her one of the most well-rounded and sought-after brokers in the business.”
Though Elghanayan said her husband wanted to bring her on at TF Cornerstone, she declined. “I don’t think it’s a good idea to mix marriage and business,” she said, preferring to discuss their jobs together without the additional weight of being colleagues.
Corcoran did not immediately return a call requesting comment.

Her husband is an official billionaire, why would she work as a broker. She should be shopping for rare gems from Madgascar.
