Chelsea seminary sells another building to Brodsky

February 10, 2012 04:30PM

The General Theological Seminary, an episcopal seminary in Chelsea, has sold another building to the Brodsky Organization, Curbed reported. The religious organization has been in the process of selling a number of buildings to the developer to convert to luxury condominiums since 2010, when it encountered financial trouble.

The seminary just sold 445 West 20th Street, between Ninth and 10th avenues, to Brodsky for $18.5 million, according to city records. It was not immediately clear what the exact plan for the building was.

At 422 West 20th Street, between Ninth and 10th avenues, the conversion of a former dormitory sold to Brodsky in 2010 to condos is nearly complete. [Curbed]

The photograph above does not show 445 West 20th Street. It is of 473 West 20th Street, which is on the south side of the block. It is a bit of a mystery what 445 is, as there technically is no building currently on that location.

Sorry, meant 472 West 20th Street.
