Tiffany Thiessen, Jeff Goldblum eye rentals at Atelier

The two are the latest celebs to consider Moinian's West 42nd Street tower for temporary stays

“White Collar” star Tiffany Thiessen and movie and television actor Jeff Goldblum may be the latest celebrities to make the Atelier, Joseph Moinian’s condominium tower at 635 West 42nd Street, their temporary home, Dan Neiditch, president of River 2 River Realty, the firm handling rentals and sales for the West Side building, told The Real Deal.

Thiessen and Goldblum both checked out the building in the last three weeks, Neiditch said, and could join a long list of celebrities who have stayed at the building, including actors Lindsay Lohan, Dania Ramirez of “Entourage” and Brendan Fraser, star of “Crash.”

Thiessen, who may be best known for the long-running role as girl-next-door Kelly Kapowski on teen show “Saved by the Bell,” and the original version of “Beverly Hills 90210,” was spotted scouting several three-bedroom apartments in the building for her and her family (she and her husband have a two-year old daughter). The family, which has divided its time between Los Angeles and New York since Thiessen took a role in “White Collar” in 2008, has been cramming into a too-small New York City apartment, Thiessen told USA Today last year. Her press representative was not immediately available for comment.

One reason Thiessen may be interested in the building, Neiditch said, is because her “White Collar” producer, Jeff King, has previously stayed in the building temporarily during filming of the show. “He’s been here for the last three years,” he said.

Three-bedroom units for rent at the property range from $8,500 a month to $10,000 a month, according to data from Streeteasy.com. Neiditch said even celebrities pay the full asking rents at the property.

Meanwhile, Goldblum, who is taking over for Alan Rickman in the hit play “Seminar” on Broadway in April, was said to be looking at two-bedroom units at the tower, which range from $4,500 to $7,500 a month. He was seeking a short-term arrangement to cover his eight-week stint in the play, Neiditch said, which is his first Broadway stage role since he appeared in “The Pillowman” in 2005. Goldblum’s press representative was not immediately available for comment.

The Atelier has a 24-hour doorman, indoor pool, 12,000-square-foot health club, rooftop lounge, basketball court, tennis court, movie theater and complimentary daily breakfast.
