Midwood home to Brooklyn’s priciest block

PropertyShark.com unveiled a map of the priciest blocks in Brooklyn recently, according its blog, and Park Slope and Cobble Hill were the most heavily represented. The map shows the Park Slope neighborhood with three blocks in the top 10, followed by Cobble Hill with two.

The priciest block in Brooklyn is in Midwood — the block between Avenue I and Avenue J and Ocean Parkway and Seventh Avenue — with a median sale price of $4.35 million, the blog said. The second priciest block is in Brooklyn Heights, the block between Joralemon Street and State Street between Willow Place and Hicks Street. The median sales price there was $3.13 million.
