Two major tenants are eyeing space at Citibank headquarters 399 Park Avenue, the New York Observer reported. Epoch Investment Partners, an investment management firm, is in talks to lease about 50,000 square feet at the Boston Properties-owned tower, sources told the Observer. Meanwhile, the Jordan Companies, a private equity firm, is considering leasing about 25,000 square feet.
Currently, six high floors sit empty at the tower between 53rd and 54th streets, the Observer said. Asking rents are reportedly as high as $100 per square foot.
Just last month Boston Properties renewed a lease with Citi for nearly 500,000 square feet at nearby 601 Lexington Avenue, which the real estate investment trust also owns. [NYO]
