Priciest, cheapest units to hit the market

Most expensive listing has gallery, waterfall and massage room

The most expensive listing to hit the Manhattan market this week is a nine-bedroom, fully renovated townhouse located at 170 East 80th Street on the Upper East Side, according to Streeteasy.com. As The Real Deal reported this week, Andy Kim at Blu Realty Group has the listing with an asking price of $31 million. The townhouse measures 10,822 square feet and has 8.5 baths. Special amenities include an interior cascading waterfall, ground-floor gallery space and a spa lounge with a Jacuzzi, sauna gym and massage room.

Located near the week’s priciest listing is the next most expensive listing to come online this week — another townhouse at 26 East 80th Street. Paula Del Nunzio at Brown Harris Stevens has this townhouse listing, which asks $17.5 million. Streeteasy says the 23-foot-wide residence has 7,500 square feet — according to the listing. Bedroom and bathroom count was unclear. However, the townhouse boasts a media room, a wood-burning fireplace, a wine cellar and a rear garden.

Also located on the Upper East Side is the week’s next priciest listing — a full-floor condominium at 823 Park Avenue that’s listed with Charlie Attias at the Corcoran Group. The asking price comes in at $15 million for the 4,184-square-foot home, which has five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. The home also features herringbone oak floors and two fireplaces in the living room.

Travel uptown to Fort George, more specifically to 14 Bogardus Place, for the week’s least expensive listing. Matthew Bizzaro at Stein-Perry has the listing for the 400-square-foot studio co-op with an asking price of $159,000. The listing says the home has hardwood floors throughout.

Downtown in the East Village is where the next cheapest listing is located, at 21-23 Avenue C. According to Streetasy, the home is being listed by its owner with an asking price of $189,000. The 700-square-foot, three-bedroom and one-bathroom co-op home has high ceilings, as well as tall windows in the shared living room–dining room space.

Back uptown in Fort George is the week’s third least expensive listing, which Matthew Bizzaro at Stein-Perry also has — this time for $247,500. Located at 31 Nagle Avenue, this 700-square-foot, one-bedroom, one-bathroom co-op home has an updated bathroom and hardwood floors throughout. — Zachary Kussin
