You can be sure this real estate gem didn’t come from a pawn shop.

Brent Montgomery, creator of the popular reality TV show “Pawn Stars,” paid $6.9 million for a duplex penthouse at the Olcott condominium on the Upper West Side, according to records filed with the city today.

Montgomery runs Leftfield Pictures, the New York-based production company behind such reality shows as ABC’s “Ball Boys” about a Baltimore-area sports memorabilia shop, the Science Channel’s “Oddities,” set in an East Village antique shop, and the self-explanatory “Monster In-Laws” on A&E.

The 2,772-square-foot penthouse belonged to investment advisor Carlos Bonzon and his wife, Natalia, who bought the unit from Laurence Gluck, the founder of Stellar Management, for $5.5 million in 2009.

Stellar was behind the conversion of the 15-story prewar building at 27 West 72nd Street between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West, but he purchased the penthouse in his own name, according to public records.

Gluck also bought the adjacent penthouse and had marketed the two apartments as a combination unit in 2008 for $20 million, Streeteasy.com shows. Gluck sold the other penthouse for $10.4 million this past July, records show.

The Montgomery apartment was listed with the Corcoran Group’s Deanna Kory and Ileana Lopez-Balboa. The last asking price was just under $7 million, according to Streeteasy. The deal closed in early August.

This past May, Montgomery was named No. 27 on the Hollywood Reporter’s list of the most powerful people in reality television. His wife, Courtney, is head of production at Leftfield (her name is also on the deed). Neither immediately responded to requests for comment.

On average, about 5.7 million viewers tune in to “Pawn Stars,” making it the most popular show on the History Channel.

Lopez-Balboa was not immediately available to comment, and Kory did not return a call seeking comment.
