There could be a new condominium coming to Tribeca. Citing an article in the Tribeca Citizen and Department of Buildings permits, Curbed reported that plans were filed mid-summer for a residential conversion at 28 North Moore Street, but got disapproved.
A call to the owner of the project, listed as George Moscahlades of Imian Partners, brought a person on the line “who sounded like he didn’t want to talk [but] confirmed it would be residential,” the Tribeca Citizen wrote. The DOB filing — the one that got disapproved — shows the building would rise seven stories and would be mixed-use. The ground floor would have neighboring residential and retail space and the remaining floors would have one unit apiece. There would also be a recreation room in the building’s basement.
PropertyShark shows that the building measures 21,400 square feet. The building was previously used for manufacturing, Curbed said. [Tribeca Citizen via Curbed]
