Robert Futterman, the founder and CEO of one of the leading retail brokerages in the city, has sold his 2,271-square-foot Chelsea apartment at the Porter House for $4.45 million.

Futterman, who founded the retail leasing and sales firm Robert K. Futterman & Associates in 1998, purchased the three-bedroom condominium at 66 Ninth Avenue at 15th Street in December 2005 for $3.15 million, city records show.

He sold it to a buyer identified only as Seven Houses, on Sept. 27, city records published today show.

Futterman moved out of the Porter House after he and his girlfriend, children’s clothing designer Hollie Watman, purchased a condo at 345 West 13th Street at Hudson Street in the West Village. Futterman also owns a home in Connecticut. A Futterman & Associates spokesperson declined to comment.

Corcoran broker Lauren Muss, a senior vice president, had the listing for the Porter House apartment, according to StreetEasy.com. The property was listed at $4 million in mid-July, but then the price was raised by 11 percent to $4.45 million a week later, and it sold at the asking price.

Futterman & Associates has offices in seven cities.
