So far, Finale is not getting a standing ovation. Residents who live above the 6,000-square-foot nightclub at 199 Bowery are complaining that owners kept them in the dark about late night construction taking place in October, Bowery Boogie reported.

Finale is officially set to open on Nov. 8, but work is on the fast track, apparently because supermodel and “Project Runway” host Heidi Klum is throwing a Halloween party at the venue.

Club owner EMM Group received permission from the Department of Buildings earlier this month to continue interior work until midnight for much of the last couple of weeks, all the way until Oct. 26, city records show. EMM Group is co-owned by Michael Hirtenstein, Eugene Remm and Mark Birnbaum, who made a name for their Meatpacking District hotspots.

Hirtenstein made headlines this week tangling with One57 developer Gary Barnett.

Barnett, who founded Extell Development Co., recently nixed Hirtenstein’s contract for a unit at the luxury tower and refunded his deposit, after Hirtenstein admitted to paying a construction worker $200 to film the view from his future apartment.

Finale, a venture with nightclub Pacha, will be lined from top to bottom in tufted blue leather and will have a rosewood and polished chrome-accented bar. [Bowery Boogie]Zachary Kussin
