Madonna is listing her 6,000-square-foot Upper West Side duplex at 41 Central Park West, between 64th and 65th streets, for $23.5 million, the Real Estalker reported.

The pop star listed the six-bedroom, eight-bathroom spread at Harperly Hall for sale yesterday, according to Streeteasy.com. The listing brokers are Arabella Greene Buckworth of Brown Harris Stevens and Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group.

Madonna is reportedly selling because she favors living in another 12,000-square-foot townhouse she bought on the Upper East Side in 2009. The mansion reportedly set her back $32.5 million. It was not immediately clear when she purchased the Harperly combination.

The apartment, on the fifth and sixth floors of the 12-story building, has 10-foot ceilings, five wood-burning fireplaces, French doors and park-facing Juliet balconies, according to the listing.

The building has a central courtyard with a manned gatehouse, access to a 20 car garage and a fully landscaped roof terrace. [Real Estalker] – Katherine Clarke

Does anyone find it curious that listing agent Arabella Buckworth recently of the Pashby Buckworth Partnership at Corcoran quietly appears listed with brown Harris stevens. Even more curious is that the Buckworth pashby partnership still shows on Corcoran’s website with the son still there. One can only assume some drama went down there. Anybody know anything?
