The hotel development slated for 125 Flatbush Avenue Extension in Downtown Brooklyn is going to be a Hampton Inn. The property will rise 13 stories, and contain 116 guest rooms. It is expected to be completed in spring 2014.

As The Real Deal reported, Magna Hospitality Group purchased the lot in March 2008 for $10.8 million, but their plans for developing a hotel on the site fell through. The Kansas-based hotel developer LodgeWorks acquired the lot in March 2012 for $7.8 million, as previously reported.
