TD Ameritrade takes 10,000 sf at 100 Broadway

Online stock broker TD Ameritrade has inked a 10-year, 9,509-square-foot lease at the 24-story, late 19th Century office building at 100 Broadway, the New York Observer reported.

The lease is for a ground floor and lower level space on the corner of Broadway and Pine Streets, featuring 170 feet of street frontage.

“It’s a great corner space in the heart of The Financial District And Steps From Wall Street, which lends itself well to a prominent financial institution like TD Ameritrade,” Cushman & Wakefield’s Gene Spiegelman, who represented the landlord Madison Capital with Michael O’Neill said.

The entire 35,000-square-foot ground floor space had been occupied by Borders bookstore before the company went bankrupt. And the TD Ameritrade lease, along with a 25,000-square-foot lease from Duane Reade, completes the lease-up of the space. [NYO] —Christopher Cameron
