A three-bedroom unit at Central Park West’s famously stodgy Dakota has gone into contract, after several price slashes, for $11 million, a far cry from its pre-recession listing price of $19.5 million, Curbed reported.
The 3,600-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment boasts 12-foot ceilings and intricate woodwork throughout. It also has a formal dining room and a library.
In 2011, the apartment was dubbed “the priciest 3-bedroom in the Dakota,” when it listed for $15 million. The building has been the scene of a notorious discrimination lawsuit, which was recently withdrawn.
