Sales launched yesterday at the Bindery, a condominium development located at 47-34 11th Street in Long Island City, according to Modern Spaces, the brokerage handling sales and marketing at the project.

The 20-unit building is seven stories tall and includes a mix of studios, one- and two-bedrooms that span 494 to 971 square feet. Prices run from $450,000 to $870,000.

The project was developed by Emmy Homes and the Lions Group, which also built the Vista condos in the same neighborhood. That development, which incorporates feng shui elements, reached the half sold mark last week.

The Bindery is a throwback to old book-binding factories in the area. Keeping with the book theme, residents will enter through a library, not a lobby. Modern Spaces said they believe the project will be the last in the neighborhood to hit the market this year.

Units include exposed brick walls, wood flooring and high-end finishes. Many units have their own balcony or terrace spaces.

Building amenities include a fitness center, a landscaped rooftop and a virtual doorman. —Zachary Kussin
