Michael Lorber, a Douglas Elliman broker and former star of “Million Dollar Listing New York,” has listed his Midtown East condo at the Grand Beekman for $2.79 million, StreetEasy shows.

Lorber, the son of Elliman Chairman Howard Lorber, is listing the apartment himself, along with two colleagues at the firm, Vincent Santoro and Alissa Rosemarin.

The recently renovated 1,861-square-foot home is configured as a one-bedroom with a formal dining room, study, eat-in kitchen and custom mill work, the listing says.

The 32-story, 113-unit Grand Beekman at 400 East 51 Street was designed by architect Costas Kondylis and developed by the Alexico Group. It includes a fitness center, children’s playroom and garden. The building was originally build in 1902, according to StreetEasy.

The younger Lorber purchased the apartment as a sponsor unit for $1.73 million in 2004, city records show.

Lorber, who also owns a home in Palm Beach, Fla., took a decidedly old-fashioned approach to the décor, according to a Gotham Magazine profile.

The apartment’s foyer is lined with first editions of books like “The Great Gatsby” and “Catcher in the Rye,” and the study is filled with boxes from Cartier, Rolex, IWC and Patek Philippe watches, Gotham reported. A map and document collector, Lorber’s home also contains a letter from John Quincy Adams and a linen handkerchief that was printed with the Declaration of Independence.

Lorber was recently replaced as a “Million Dollar Listing” cast member with Luis D. Ortiz, a broker at Keller Williams NYC.

Lorber, Santoro and Rosemarin did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

His father didn’t want him on the show in the first place! Why would he leave after already filming a season doesn’t make much sense.I wonder if he was fired from the show since most of his “deals”fell through.
