Priciest, cheapest units to hit the market

The priciest listing to hit the Manhattan market this week is a $42 million condominium penthouse located at 250 West Street in Tribeca, according to StreetEasy. Erica Miller and Ariana Meyerson of Cantor Pecorella have the listing for the unit, which has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The home boasts a wraparound terrace with views of the Statue of Liberty to the west and the Empire State Building to the north. Other amenities include floor-to-ceiling windows, a private ground-level space for car drop-off and a private elevator that leads to the home.

Penthouse listings are in vogue this week, as the next priciest listing to come online is for a co-op penthouse located nearby at 459 West Broadway in Soho. The home belongs to developer Leonard Stern, as previously reported. Deborah Grubman and David Dubin of the Corcoran Group have the listing for the four-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home, which has a $17.3 million asking price. A private elevator leads to the home, according to the listing, which also details a fireplace in The Master Suite And A Terrace space featuring an outdoor kitchen and soaking pool.

Jan Hashey and Steve Halprin of Douglas Elliman have the week’s next priciest listing, which is for a townhouse property located at 226-228 East 49th Street in Turtle Bay. The asking price for this 8,000-square-foot home is $16.5 million. The home comes equipped with a ballroom with 22-foot-high ceilings, a private garden with a fountain and an elevator.

The cheapest listing to come online in Manhattan this week is located at 100 West 141st Street in Central Harlem. The listing price for this renovated co-op is $175,000. Nicole Godbolt-Thomas at Lucien Perry has the listing for the two-bedroom home, which offers a potential third bedroom. The home has hardwood flooring and 750 square feet of space.

Melissa Hernandez and Bobby Chani of Douglas Elliman have the next cheapest listing. Located at 155 East 49th Street in Turtle Bay, this studio co-op has an asking price of $209,000.

The next cheapest listing is located farther uptown at 509 East 88th Street in Yorkville. Corcoran’s Michelle Weissman has the listing for this studio co-op with a $245,000 ask. The home has an updated kitchen, hardwood floors and a windowed bath, according to the listing. —Zachary Kussin
