Once dubbed “the Gateway to Williamsburg,” the wedge-shaped glassy building is being developed by Chetrit with Gene Kaufman as the architect of record. The project was on thin ice since 2008, when it fell victim to the economic downturn, the Brooklyn blog said.

The project is slated for a 2015 completion. [Brownstoner]Zachary Kussin
