Design architect Cary Tamarkin’s newest West Chelsea project will be a 10-story building with 15 residential units and ground-floor retail space, Curbed reported.

Located at 508 West 24th Street between Tenth and Eleventh avenues, the project will have a rooftop terrace, and some of the duplex apartments will come with their own private terraces. Architecture firm Goldstein, Hill, and West is the architect of record, having previously worked on high-profile residential sites such as the Aldyn and the Laurel.

The Carlyle Group purchased the site — which was home to an industrial warehouse — for $16 million in 2011, as previously reported. [Curbed] —Hiten Samtani

CORRECTION: A previous version of the article, based on information from the source article, misidentified Goldstein, Hill, and West as the design architect. Tamarkin is the design architect; Goldstein, Hill, and West is the architect of record.
