Brown Harris Stevens names new Park Slope sales manager

Brown Harris Stevens has appointed Nicholas Palance to the role of sales manager at the brokerage’s Park Slope office at 100 Seventh Avenue, the firm told The Real Deal.

Palance served as executive vice president and managing director of sales since joining Brown Harris Stevens in 2007. A multi-award winner, Palance tied with Ann Ferguson of Klara Madlin Real Estate For First Place in the residential sales category at the Real Estate Board of New York’s 24th annual residential deal of the year awards last year, as previously reported by TRD.

“With remarkable energy, Nick will manage with an open door policy, offering his extensive marketing savvy, knowledge of the industry and exceptional people skills,” Hall Willkie, president of Brown Harris Stevens, said in the release.

Palance has also worked as a financial analyst in the music industry. He handled the Capital Records collection and Beatles catalogue, and managed accounts for such artists as Miles Davis and Norah Jones, the release said. –Mark Maurer
