Priciest, cheapest units to hit the market

Kyle Blackmon of Brown Harris Stevens has the priciest single-family home to hit the Manhattan market this week: the penthouse at The Plaza, according to StreetEasy. This 6,319-square-foot condominium, located at 1 Central Park South, has a whopping $59 million ask. The unit spans three floors, and comes with a living room with Central Park views, 21-foot ceilings in the kitchen and a gas-burning fireplace in the den. There are four bedrooms, five bathrooms and five half bathrooms.

The week’s next priciest listing is located in the storied 15 Central Park West. Here, Setsuko Hattori and Masae Katsuragawa of Douglas Elliman have a listing for a 2,367-square-foot condo. The home comes equipped with two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. There’s also a Juliet balcony that overlooks Central Park. The asking price is $16.9 million.

Gilad Azaria, also of Elliman, has the next priciest home this week — a townhouse with a $13.5 million asking price. Located at 1211 Park Avenue in Carnegie Hill, the property stands 20 feet wide, and comes with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. There are over 5,200 interior square feet and 750 square feet on the exterior. Amenities Include A Rooftop Terrace, hardwood strip floors, and four fireplaces with original mantel details, among others.

Head Uptown to 529 West 152nd Street in Hamilton Heights for the week’s cheapest listing. This studio co-op has a $75,000 ask, and income restrictions apply. Nahabed Mazmanian and Ilarion Zyma of Nest Seekers International have the listing.

Avi Malul and Eran Alayof of Keller Williams NYC have the next cheapest listing, located farther Downtown at 301 East 63rd Street in Lenox Hill. This studio co-op has a $149,000 ask.

Back Uptown in East Harlem is where the next cheapest listing is located, specifically 420 East 119th Street. Also a co-op, this two-bedroom home has a $175,000 asking price.
