Several big-name developers are clamoring for the right to develop three separate sites at Brooklyn Bridge Park, Crain’s reported.

Ten teams of top retailers and builders – including Jamestown Properties and Two Trees Management — have submitted plans to create a commercial hub just north of the Brooklyn Bridge at the former Empire Store warehouses. Another site four blocks east has attracted 11 developers hoping to build a residential tower with up to 130 units. The developers for both sites will be chosen by Labor Day, Crain’s said.

Meanhwhile the Jehovah’s Witnesses, the area’s largest landlord, is also making a push to unload several of its biggest properties, which have attracted the likes of the Related Companies. Properties on the block include the 400,000-square-foot 55 Furman Street, a bunch of warehouses encompassing 700,000 square feet at Pearl Street, and two massive parking lots that could allow for over 1.5 million square feet of new development.

“It certainly seems like we’ve created a place they’re all interested in investing in,” Regina Myer, president of the city entity known as Brooklyn Bridge Park, told Crain’s. [Crain’s]Hiten Samtani

Jehovah’s Witness are moving out of town. For over 130 years the end has been ‘at hand’ or ‘just around the corner’.
Every year that goes by this group has less and less credibility.
Remember in 1925 the WT publication ‘Millions now living will never dies’?
The second edition should be ‘Millions now dead never lived’.

Jehovah’s Witnesses for most part don’t support any public charities because Watchtower teaches them that the only way people will get help is through God’s (1914) kingdom so helping poor is a waste of time.
      Ca$hing out on the Kingdom.
The Watchtower corporation of New York the ‘Vatican’ of the Jehovah’s Witnesses being a religion, has properties that pay no taxes.
They have trained ‘volunteer’ constructions crews that build their real estate empire.
They flip sell many properties that they build for immense profit.
      That’s religion..

How long did Noah preach before the world at his time came to an end and how did people respond to his preaching about the coming destruction? How many people survived? You should consider the time that goes by as an extension of Jehovah God’s mercy. The truth is God doesn’t delight in the death of any one so he is giving people like you time to change.
