33-acre Sagg Pond estate price tag drops to $59M
Last summer’s priciest East End listing is now on the market for a mere $59 million, Curbed reported.
First listed for a whopping $65 million in June 2012, the 11,000-square-foot, eight-bedroom traditional is set upon 33 acres on Sagg Pond. Features include a limestone entry hall, six fireplaces, a wood-paneled library, private decks and a screened-in porch with a built-in grill, a heated gunite pool and a tennis court.
“It is really one of the few pieces on the market at all with this kind of privacy,” Debbie Loeffler of the Corcoran Group, who has the listing, told the New York Times when the property was listed last year. “There is really nothing like it.” [Curbed] –Julie Strickland
