Deposed “Dateline NBC” reporter Stone Phillips has bought a three-bedroom, 3.5-bathrom co-op at 10 Park Avenue for $3.15 million, the New York Observer reported.

The Murray Hill co-op, listed by Mara Flash Blum of Sotheby’s, spent one day on the market. Phillips and his wife, Debra, paid the asking price, the Observer said.

The apartment features a 45-foot-long living/dining room, high-beamed ceilings and casement windows that let light in from all four sides, the listing said. Jeannie Oakes and Mark Lipton, both educational researchers and authors, bought it in 2010 for $2.67 million, the Observer said.

Phillips has been living at his family’s country home in Dobbs Ferry, in Westchester County, according to the Observer. In September 2011, Phillips unloaded his two-bedroom penthouse at 45 Gramercy Park North for $5.7 million, as The Real Deal reported.

Before  that, he sold both his triplex penthouse on Central Park West and his “more modest” condo on West 19th Street, around the time NBC opted not to renew his contract, according to the paper. [NYO]Mark Maurer
