Fashion guru and former judge of “Project Runway” Michael Kors is shopping for a new Manhattan pad and recently checked out comedian Rosie O’Donnell’s Greenwich Village penthouse, the New York Post reported.
The 3,202-square-foot duplex apartment at Rudin Management’s 130 West 12th Street has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and boasts a 429-square-foot private terrace, colorful carpets and art sprinkled throughout. Last year, O’Donnell paid $8.1 million for the duplex apartment, which is part of the St. Vincent’s Hospital condominium conversion.
Listing broker Dennis Mangone of Douglas Elliman declined to comment to the Post.
Kors, who is best known for his classic American women’s wear line, took his company public in 2011, with the help of two businessmen who also purchased $50 million apartments at Extell Development’s One57 project. [NYP, 1st item] – Hiten Samtani
