Andrew Barrocas, CEO of MNS, which is handling sales at the project, chatted with a variety of brokers, mostly colleagues, who poured in throughout the evening to sip cocktails and nibble a seemingly never-ending supply of pizzas. Notably absent was Magnum President Ben Shaoul, who purchased the property with real estate investment trust SL Green Realty, as The Real Deal previously reported.

The project is the latest Brooklyn undertaking for Magnum and SL Green, which together purchased a portfolio that also included 44 condominium units at 195 Berry Street for $19.58 million and 28 condos at 248 Bedford Avenue for $14.1 million. The 12 townhomes at 131-153 North Third Street off of Bedford Avenue cost the partnership $17.8 million, or about $1.5 million each.

However, MNS is no stranger to the Williamsburg market, having sold out the massive Edge condo development on the waterfront. The firm is set to open a second Williamsburg office at the Edge this fall, as The Real Deal previously reported. Indeed, Jonathan Tager, who was recently hired to head the office, was at the townhouse party.

The 12 new three-bedroom, two-bathroom townhouses hit the market this past week, as previously reported. Prices for the homes start at $2.38 million for a 2,800-square-foot unit.
