More details on 53-unit East Williamsburg project

Renderings have surfaced for the six-story apartment building planned to rise in East Williamsburg near Cooper Park. Christopher V. Papa Architecture has unveiled plans for the 53-unit building, located at 42 Maspeth Avenue.

Aptsandlofts.com is handling marketing for the apartments, between Bushwick and Kingsland avenues, though it is not known if they will be rentals or condominiums. The project features a yard and a 27-car garage, Brownstoner reported.

The property was last sold in 2005 for $4.65 million to an entity called only “36 Maspeth Avenue LLC.” The Department of Buildings signed off on the project last month, per previous reports from Brownstoner. [Brownstoner] — Mark Maurer
