Shoe retailer Clark’s slips into Soho space

If Soho fits, wear it. Shoe retailer Clark’s is opening its first store in the neighborhood, having signed a lease for 7,600 square feet. Asking rent was $2.2 million a year.

The department store-friendly shoe brand will set up in a two-level, block-through space that has entrances at both 547 Broadway and 118 Mercer Street. Clark’s has about 900 outlets across the U.S., including two in Manhattan, one in Brooklyn and one in Queens.
