W&H Properties is stepping up marketing for a nearly 90,000-square-foot retail space at 112 West 34th Street, in a heavily trafficked area across the street from the Macy’s flagship.

Foot Locker occupies a large portion of the three stories of retail space, which will be available in 2015. There will be 28,651 square feet on the second floor, 23,888 square feet on the ground floor and 36,990 square feet on the bottom level.

Joanne Podell, vice chairman of Cushman & Wakefield, has the listing for the space. The property hit the market in April, according to CoStar Group data, but today the landlord touted its global marketing efforts for the space.

“This is a worldwide outreach because no other space availability in recent memory offers a comparable scope of opportunity for an international retailer,” said Anthony Malkin, president of Malkin Holdings, which supervises the W&H portfolio, in a statement.

In April, Swatch Group took 1,837 square feet at the building, at an eye-popping $1,000 per square foot. — Mark Maurer
