A three-bedroom townhouse at 196 Houston Street that once hosted former Beatle John Lennon and novelist Norman Mailer has sold for $13 million.

The former warehouse 196 West Houston Street, after 451 days on the market, changed hands from the mysteriously named Draw Ventures LLC, which purchased the property for $12 million in 2007, to Shatter Scape Holdings LLC.

The illustrious townhouse originally hit the market in early 2012 asking $14.95 million, and features a 60-foot great room with 12-foot ceilings and solarium ceilings over three of the bathrooms. A roof deck with outdoor showers and finished basement that once served as a recording studio (now a steam room and yoga studio) round out the amenities.
