Tony winner Audra McDonald is ponying up $1.2 million for a two-family brick house in Upper Manhattan’s Inwood neighborhood.
The songbird, who has her primary residence in Croton-on-Hudson, grabbed the 2,000-square-foot home for slightly less than the asking price: $1.3 million. The deed lists the seller as Ana Casado Vinardell.
Though photos show a vinyl-covered porch, the home includes high-end features such as a spa Jacuzzi tub, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. It also has a finished basement, an attic and a two-car garage, the New York Observer reported.
Rebecca Pelletier of New Heights Realty had the listing; McDonald confirmed the purchase, but declined to comment further to the newspaper. [NYO] — Mark Maurer
