Priciest, cheapest listings to hit the Manhattan market this week

Douglas Elliman’s Howard Margolis and Jamie Mitchell had the priciest listing to hit the Manhattan market this week with a $27 million condominium at the Trump International Tower at 1 Central Park West in Lincoln Square. The 4,489-square-foot property boasts a library with park views, expansive corner living room adjoining the formal dining room, an eat-in kitchen and a master bedroom suite with three walk-in closets and two full baths.

The next priciest offering was a $22 million five-bedroom co-op at 998 Fifth Avenue, listed by Serena Boardman of Sotheby’s International Realty. The apartment in the McKim, Mead & White-designed building features an expansive gallery with a sweeping staircase, the home’s original library, a master bedroom suite comprised of a bedroom, dressing room and two large baths, hardwood floors, high ceilings and stained glass windows.

Third on the pricey end this week is a $21.5 million condominium at 11 East 68th Street in Lenox Hill. Designed by Shelton, Mindel & Associates, the home is covered in rich oak flooring in a custom Parquet de Versailles pattern, features 10-foot ceilings and oversized windows. A private elevator, corner living room with a wood-burning fireplace sculpted in Travertine marble, library and eat-in kitchen round out the perks.

The week’s least expensive listing to hit the Manhattan market is a $169,000 studio co-op at 579 West 215th Street in Inwood. The unit features a renovated kitchen, bathroom and a separate dressing area with newly-installed shelving, and building amenities include a live-in super, storage room, roof deck and an indoor garage, for which there is a waiting list. Robert Kleinbardt of New Heights Realty has the listing.

The second-cheapest home of the week, asking $259,500, is located at 5 Tudor City Place in Murray Hill. This pre-war studio co-op boasts a double-size closet, refinished original wood floors and high-beamed ceilings. The kitchen needs updating and the bathroom is “vintage but in excellent shape,” according to the listing, held by Tudor Realty’s Ronald Webster.

Last but not least, the third least expensive listing of the week is a studio co-op at 244 Riverside Drive on the Upper West Side, asking $275,000. Topped with nine-foot ceilings, the unit features refinished hardwood floors and a separate kitchen, and building amenities include a live-in super, central laundry room and a bike room.
