The first resale unit at the Related Companies and HFZ Capital’s One Madison condominium tower has hit the market, decked out with columns, glittery red chandeliers with fake candles and a $9.75 million price tag.

The 16th-floor home, currently owned by Roman Klimenko and Natalia Potapova, went for $5.1 million when the duo closed on the pad in 2009, just before the building became bedeviled with bankruptcy drama.

The full-floor three-bedroom home, listed with Doug Perlson, CEO of RealDirect.com, is one of only seven in the building to boast a private terrace and has interiors designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen. A private, keyed elevator opens to a private foyer with white oak plank floors, the kitchen boasts custom rosewood cabinets, and the master bath is decked out in travertine marble floors and walls.

The building officially launched sales — for a second time — in September. It has recently drawn a smattering of celebrity lookers, from fashion mogul Vera Wang to Sports Illustrated bombshell Kate Upton. [Curbed]Julie Strickland
