Heatherwood has been active in Long Island City’s ever-growing residential building scene for years now, having fully leased its property at 27-03 42nd Road in August. The firm purchased four residential development sites in The Queens Plaza area in 2011, part of a push by Rockrose Development, Meadow Properties and Heatherwood to open between 2,000 and 3,000 new apartment units for the area in three years.
