Israel’s national airline, El Al Airlines, is leaving NoMad for Lower Manhattan, signing a 10-year, 14,918-square-foot lease on the fourth floor of 100 Wall Street. The airline had formerly operated its North American headquarters from 15 East 26th Street.

The new lease at the Savanna-owned building, located between Front and Water streets, was brokered by Albert Duryea of New York Realty Group on behalf of the tenant. Savanna’s in-house broker, Brian Reiver, represented the landlord, according to the New York Observer.

The 29-story 100 Wall Street building was purchased by Savanna in 2011, and totals 520,000 square feet. Earlier this year, Savanna temporarily donated 8,409 square feet of space in the building to the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council for its artist residency program for the second year in a row. At that time the building was 86 percent leased. [NYO]Christopher Cameron
