Asking rents at the 42-story, 540,000-square-foot building, which was designed by Emery Roth & Sons in the 1980s, are nearly $60 per square foot.

John Barry of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners and Michael Shakespeare of Colliers International represented National Liability & Fire Insurance. Cushman & Wakefield’s Jonathan Luttwak and Willard Overlock handled the deal for Hale. Interactive Properties broker Michael Elkin represented Charleston. Ryan Silverman and AJ Camhi represented Aby Rosen-led RFR in-house, the Observer said.

In July, law firm Nelson Levine de Luca & Hamilton signed a lease for 29,386 square feet on the 29th and 30th floors, as previously reported. [NYO]Mark Maurer
